One of Naqvi’s first challenges as ACC president will be deciding the venue for the upcoming T20 Asia Cup. Naqvi Climbs to the Top as he takes on this responsibility. Though India is officially listed as the host, Pakistan is expected to demand a neutral venue for their matches due to political tensions. A similar hybrid model was used during the 2023 Asia Cup, where Pakistan hosted the initial games while Sri Lanka hosted India’s matches and the final.
