Federation General Secretary SM Newaz Sohag said, “This is a very positive aspect. We have been asked for the names of 10 players for the auction. We will consider the situation and take a decision after discussing with the federation president, players and their organizations.”
The Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation has been asked to send the list of players by May 20. The federation will do so after discussing with the coaches. ‘Our catchers and defenders are more popular than the raiders. We will look at the names of the players on the advice of the technical panel,’ said the federation’s general secretary.
The players who get teams in the auction will have to stay in India from August 12 to November.
