Defender Ronald Araujo believes that Barcelona has the strength to win the Champions League, a trophy they haven’t won in ten years. This season, the team already claimed three big titles – LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
On Friday, thousands of fans celebrated with the team as they paraded through the streets from Camp Nou to Arc de Triomf. The celebration came after Barcelona secured their 28th league title with a 2-0 victory over Espanyol.
“We’re really happy. We earned this. The team and the fans deserve it,” Araujo told Barca One during the open-top bus parade. “No one believed in us at the start of the season, but we ended up winning three trophies.”

“People are hopeful about this team because it has strong young talent. We didn’t win the Champions League this time, but we will get it in the future.”
Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals by Inter Milan earlier this month. The last time they won the tournament was in 2015.
