Eden Nightmare for SRH: KKR Bowlers Shine as SRH Collapse

SRH had a disastrous outing, struggling in both bowling and batting. Their bowlers failed to contain KKR, who posted a strong total of 200/6. In response, SRH’s batting lineup crumbled, managing only 120 runs in 16.4 overs.

Eden Nightmare for SRH The chase started terribly as Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan were dismissed within the first three overs, leaving SRH at 9/3. KKR’s bowlers never let them recover. Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora dismantled the top order, while spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine maintained complete control.

KKR’s fielding was sharp, with Andre Russell making a brief error but quickly redeeming himself.

In batting, KKR adjusted well to the conditions. Despite losing two early wickets, Ajinkya Rahane and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi built a solid 81-run stand in 51 balls. Rahane scored 38 off 27, while Angkrish registered his maiden IPL fifty. Later, Venkatesh Iyer (60 off 29) and Rinku Singh (32* off 17) ensured a strong finish.

SRH’s poor fielding and questionable decisions, including Captain Pat Cummins not giving Kamindu Mendis another over, added to their troubles.

With this commanding win, KKR bounced back from their previous loss to Mumbai Indians, while SRH suffered their biggest IPL defeat by runs. KKR now looks ahead to their next match against Lucknow Super Giants on April 8.
