English Premier League footballer Hamza Dewan Chowdhury arrived in Bangladesh on the morning of March 17. He returned home yesterday after playing his debut match for Bangladesh in Shillong, India, on March 25.
This morning, he left the country on a Bangladesh Biman flight to join English club Sheffield United. It is learned that he left Dhaka for Sylhet at 9:45 am and then left Sylhet for Manchester on the same flight at 11:45 pm.
The sports arena of Bangladesh has been in a state of turmoil for the past 10 days. He received a huge welcome and love in his home district Habiganj on March 17 and 18. He joined the Bangladesh national team camp on the night of March 18. He practiced in Dhaka the next day. He was in Shillong, India to play matches from March 20-25.
