Mendis also chipped in with the bat, scoring 27 runs, but SRH’s chase faltered.

On a side note, Kamindu Mendis also reached a major Test milestone recently, becoming the fastest Asian to 1000 Test runs in just 13 innings, surpassing Vinod Kambli’s record. He now shares the record for the second-fastest ever to 1000 Test runs with Don Bradman, behind only Everton Weekes and Herbert Sutcliffe.
Despite Mendis’ brilliance, SRH’s poor fielding and inconsistent bowling allowed KKR to dominate the match. KKR bounced back strongly from their previous defeat, while SRH will need to regroup quickly before their next fixture
