Bangalore batted first against Rajasthan Royals and scored 205/5. Kohli played a great knock, making 70 runs off 42 balls. He started off slowly but picked up pace towards the end. His innings included 8 fours and 2 sixes.

Kohli made a record today by hitting his fifty. He now holds the record for the most fifties while batting first in T20 cricket, with 62 fifties in T20Is.

Today, Kohli overtook Babar Azam, the former Pakistan captain, who has 61 fifties while batting first. The next on the list are Chris Gayle (57), David Warner (55), and Jos Buttler (52).

Overall, David Warner holds the record for the most fifties in T20 cricket, with 117. Kohli is second with 111, having passed Gayle just yesterday.
