Liton will give special gifts to two teenagers who caused a stir

It may be school cricket. But after scoring 400 runs in an individual innings for the first time in the country’s cricket! Mustakim Howlader is naturally flooded with praise after such an innings. Although he grew up in Dhaka, Mustakim Howlader’s ancestral home is in Barisal. He currently lives with his parents in Dhaka. This ninth-grade student of Cambrian School and College has created new history in the country’s recognized cricket.

Mustakim played a superhuman innings of 404 runs unbeaten with 50 fours and 22 sixes against St. Gregory’s School. Which was confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) as the first in school or any recognized level of cricket in the country.

Based on Mustakim’s innings, his team Cambrian School and College scored 770 runs for 2 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Saad Parvez made a partnership of 699 runs for the third wicket with this opener. Saad himself also got a personal double century. He was unbeaten on 256 runs from 124 balls with 32 fours and 13 sixes. Saad, however, got 4 wickets.

National team wicketkeeper Liton Kumar Das, like many others across the country, was impressed by the batting style of these two brilliant youngsters. He praised the two youngsters in his Facebook status and even said he would give them gifts.

Liton wrote on Facebook, “It’s great to see the success of young cricketers in school cricket! Mustakim Howlader’s 404 runs and Saad Parvez’s 256 runs + 4 wickets—in a word, amazing!”

It’s good to know that Saad likes my batting. As a symbol of love, I will gift both Mustakim and Saad two pairs of my gloves. I hope this will inspire them to move forward on the path of their dreams and they will shine even brighter!’

Liton is currently busy with the DPL. He is playing for Gulshan Cricket Club. Meanwhile, the PSL schedule is approaching. If he gets the NOC or no objection certificate, he can be seen in that franchise cricket.
