Virat Kohli bow down infront of Ravichandran Ashwin: The first match of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh was played in Chennai from 19 to 22 September. Actually, R Ashwin showed amazing performance with the bat in the first innings of the Bangladesh match and managed to score the sixth Test century of his career. After this, he showed his spin in the second innings of the visiting team and took 6 wickets. In this way, Ashwin took a 5-wicket haul for the 37th time in his Test career. During this, as soon as Ashwin took the fifth wicket, Virat Kohli was seen bowing his head in front of this off-spinner who was busy celebrating with his teammates and appreciated his achievement.

Ravichandran Ashwin proved to be the hero of Chennai Test
Talking about the match, after winning the toss, Bangladesh gave India a chance to bat first, but the main batsmen of Team India could not perform well and the score became 144/6. From here Ravichandran Ashwin counter-attacked and Ravindra Jadeja supported him. Both of them put India in a strong position by adding 199 runs for the seventh wicket. Ashwin played an innings of 113 runs, while Jadeja scored 86 runs. With the help of these two innings, India scored 376 runs, in response, the entire Bangladesh team collapsed for 149 runs.
Team India declared the innings at 287/4 in its second innings with the help of centuries from Shubman Gill (119*) and Rishabh Pant (109). Due to lagging behind in the first innings, Bangladesh got a target of 515 and the team was all out after scoring 234 runs. Ashwin was also selected as the Player of the Match for his brilliant performance.
